Granit Xhaka will be the captain of Sunderland. It was the English team's coach, Regis Le Brice, who announced the news in a recent interview.
"We need maturity, quality, consistency and experience, Granit has it all. Xhaka makes it easier for the players around him. Most likely our captain in the new season will be Xhaka," said the coach. Xhaka transferred to Sunderland from the Leverkusen team.
