On the 72nd day of the anti-government protest, one of the protest participants in the square delivered a message full of enthusiasm and determination, emphasizing that not even the August heat will stop the popular revolt for justice.

Through his speech, an elderly man underlined that the 72-day resistance has proven the maturity and strength of the civic voice, which is increasing day by day:

"Today marks 72 days of protest and the citizen voice continues and stands. There are 72 days of sacrifice and determination, even though we are in August and the temperatures are high. This has not alienated citizens, on the contrary it has enthused them even more and their participation has increased. Rama, resign! Albania demands change, demands justice, the protest has entered a new phase," he said.

He further appealed that the unity of citizens faces any climatic obstacle or other difficulty, with the sole purpose of paving the way for a better future in the homeland:

"These 72 days have shown that civic will is not easily extinguished, neither by high temperatures nor by difficulties. Because when citizens unite for a goal, their voice becomes stronger. This is not just a protest, it is a call for change, dignity, a better future. Albania needs a new page," he concluded his message to the protesters.
