Vangjel Dule, president of PBDNJ, considers holding the elections for the mayor of HImara as the most absurd process possible. Dule said that tomorrow Himara will wake up with two mayors, one Fredi Beleri, whose mandate was not terminated legally and according to procedures, while we also have the winner of today's process.

Dule pointed out that we still do not have a final decision regarding Fredi Beleri's mandate, since the appeal of the PBDNJ has not yet been reviewed in the KAS, while the appeal has been filed in the Administrative Court regarding the President's decree, which appointed 4 August as the day of the elections.

The head of PBDNJ said that there are 93 voters who have transferred their civil status beyond the legal deadlines. "These are flagrant violations, which were also reported to SPAK by the candidate Petro Gjikuria. The candidate of the SP has affirmed in voice and figure that he has distributed over 1200 property titles, while there are over 600 more in the Cadastre's drawers. What can justice wait for to act", said Dule.

He then said that over 6 voters are denied the right to vote because they have expired identification documents. "According to the data we have, there are about 600 voters who appeared at the polling stations and due to expired documents, they were not allowed to vote," said Dule.

Referring to the irregularities, Dule said that in this process the socialist candidate has entered with over 1 thousand voters in his favor, thus creating a completely fair, transparent and honest competition. "If we refer to the number of persons transferred to the Municipality of Himara and those who are being denied the right to vote, the socialist candidate Vangjel Tavo has entered this process with plus 1 thousand votes", said Dule. According to him, in Himare are half of the government and the civil administration, who are exerting pressure on the voters.

"The intense presence of citizens with criminal records, accompanied by the Mayors of Konispol and Vlora, was noticed", said Dule.

He said that in Himare, an autopsy will be performed on what he called the corpse of the free election process. "We are doing a service of democracy and honesty not only to the community of Himara, but to the whole society", said Dule. He said that the spirit he finds in Himare is that Petro Gjikuria will win, but added that he is not a prophet to predict the result of the votes in the box.
