A massive fire has broken out in the Daiasi area, near Lundra in Tirana, and is still creating a high-risk situation for the surrounding environment. The flames are spreading rapidly and have expanded their perimeter, encompassing large areas of trees and dense vegetation.
Despite the drop in temperatures overnight, the situation remains extremely critical. The massive flames continue to be active during the evening hours, favored by local winds and the vegetation of the area.
Dense smoke has covered part of the surrounding territory, while the fires are rapidly advancing towards areas with forests and orchards.
