The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted sharply to the statement of the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Ivica Dačić, who stated that the Serbian flag will fly over Prizren.
In a public reaction, Berisha calls the statement provocative and warmongering, condemning positions that threaten peace and stability in the region.
Berisha has called Dacic "Milosevic's clown" and "the direct party successor of the butcher of the Balkans," accusing the current Serbian leadership of ultranationalism and hostility to peace.
According to the leader of the DP, the statement on Prizren proves once again the danger that Serbian nationalist positions pose to regional stability and cooperation.
