Technical problems in air traffic control systems in Italy have led to the cancellation of several flights to and from Tirana International Airport today.
According to a statement released by Tirana International Airport (TIA), the cancellations have affected flights to and from Milan (Malpensa), Turin, Verona, Pisa, Rimini and Genoa. The situation is also related to restrictions imposed in Italian airspace.

Tirana Airport announces that it is in coordination with airlines and relevant authorities to monitor the situation and minimize the impact on passengers.
Meanwhile, travelers who have scheduled flights to or from Italy are recommended to regularly check their airline announcements to receive the latest information on flight status.
