A serious incident has been recorded in the village of Rremull in Burreli, where an 89-year-old man, identified as Adem Mara, suffered severe burns to his body. According to preliminary suspicions, his daughter, 43-year-old Majlinda Mara, doused him with gasoline and then set him on fire.

The elderly man was transported to a hospital in Tirana, where he is receiving medical treatment. Sources from the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center indicate that the 89-year-old is out of danger and in stable condition.

The incident is suspected to have occurred yesterday, while its circumstances and causes remain to be clarified by the investigation.
