Shocking footage has emerged of a shooting at a Citibank branch in Tampa, Florida, USA, where a 35-year-old man killed an employee and was then shot dead by the bank's security chief. The gunman, identified as Jacob Pearson, forced his way into the bank on Wednesday, crashing his vehicle through the security gate. The attack was reportedly motivated by a court order for a $2,500 debt.

Police said Pearson had earlier called the law firm that was pursuing the debt case and made direct threats.

Security camera footage shows the moment his vehicle crashed into the gate of the facility, which employs about 3,200 people. The 35-year-old then confronted 41-year-old employee Lynn Selman and opened fire with a shotgun. After the gun jammed, he returned to the vehicle, grabbed a handgun and shot the woman again, who was trying to leave. Selman died from her injuries.

The attack ended after the bank's security chief shot the perpetrator, leaving him dead.
