The police have provided preliminary information regarding the serious accident that occurred on the Mollas-Gostimë road, in the territory of the Cërrik municipality, where two people lost their lives and another was injured.
According to official data, two vehicles were involved in the accident, one driven by citizen SM, 38 years old, and the other by citizen Qemal Çala, about 63 years old.
The collision resulted fatal for the driver of the vehicle, Q. Ç., who died at the scene. The passenger traveling with him, Drilon Tabaku, aged about 22, also died.
The driver of the other vehicle, Sajmir Muça, 38 years old, was also injured in the accident and was urgently transported to the hospital, where he is receiving medical assistance and is under the care of doctors.
Police services and an investigative group have arrived at the scene, and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, are carrying out all procedural actions to document the event and uncover the full causes of this tragic accident.
According to the identification of the victims, the people who lost their lives are Qemal Çala, 63 years old, and Drilon Tabaku, 22 years old.
