Details have emerged from the decision of the Special Anti-Corruption Court against the former director of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, who is accused of providing assistance to businessman Ergys Agasi while he was on the run. BalkanWeb has been informed of the content of the GJKKO decision, which left in force the security measure "house arrest" for Hysen.
The court document also describes Ergys Agas' telephone communications with two Israeli citizens, Shalev I. and Srulik EK, where he refers to his acquaintances with the former head of the Albanian Secret Service and the interventions that, according to the messages, she could carry out.
In one of the communications with citizen Shalev I., Agasi writes: "I have a close friend with the head of the secret service." While in the communication with the other citizen, Srulik EK, Agasi writes: "We are lucky that the Americans themselves have caught him here and know his behavior and something else, the director of the Secret Service will meet with him herself and will talk to her about this matter, bringing her evidence that the prosecutor did this for other interests." "The communications mediated by Agasit with citizens with the pseudonyms Shalev I. and Srulik E., who are mentioned in connection with issues related to the head of the Secret Service, reasonably indicate the presence of an international network serving the interests of the criminal group, a network that increases the concrete degree of risk that Hyseni, if he remained at large, would have privileged access to channels of escape or concealment that are beyond the effective control of the prosecuting authorities," the GJKKO decision further states.
These communications are part of the materials reflected in the GJKKO decision, while their content sheds light on Agas's contacts and relationships regarding the influence that Vlora Hyseni could have while the businessman was on the run. We recall that earlier in the SPAK investigative file, telephone communications between Agas and Vlora Hyseni were revealed, where the latter spoke about enemies who wished them harm and were attacking them, and the latter even informed him about possible moves in politics. As part of these investigations, SPAK issued a measure of 'house arrest' against Hyseni and dismissed him from his post, bringing a 'storm' of reactions to Albanian public opinion, regarding the magnitude of this scandal about how the head of SHESH uses secret information on behalf of a person wanted by justice.
