A young man has recounted what happened on the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where protesters and police officers had a moment of calm, after continuous clashes during the October 16 protest in Tirana.

In his testimony, the young man shows that the protesters reached an agreement with the police officers, which led to the withdrawal of the officers towards the Prime Minister's Office. He emphasized that the parties reached an understanding, without the need for other guarantees.

"These are Albanians too," he says of the police officers, adding that they are carrying out orders from their leaders.

However, the young man says he is disappointed by the peaceful protests, as, according to him, they have not brought the expected results.

"I'm for the protest that works. Everyone knows that's what works. We're tired of peaceful protests," he declares.

The protester further uses harsh language towards Prime Minister Edi Rama, calling him the "cancer of Albania" and claiming that violence is the only path left for the protesters.

"We will not let them put us down, these are Albanians too, they have taken orders from the head of state who is the cancer of Albania. Only violence works here, they have left us no other way. The police have families. They must resign," he said.
