The meeting between Prime Minister Edi Rama and ministers and regional political leaders, held at the Prime Minister's Office, has ended after about an hour and 30 minutes.

Journalist Ergys Gjençaj reported that the focus of the discussions was the 2027 draft budget and the fiscal package. According to information, Rama has asked ministers and political leaders to hold meetings at the grassroots level to explain the measures and forecasts contained in the draft budget and fiscal package.

The Prime Minister has instructed government and Socialist Party representatives to communicate with structures and citizens in the regions, making known the details of the financial documents for the coming year.

The meeting comes at a time when Tirana continues to be engulfed by student protests, which have entered their 18th day today.
