Dense fog has characterized the early hours of this morning in the city of Kukës, covering almost the entire urban area and surrounding areas. The atmospheric phenomenon has extended up to a height of 500 meters above sea level, creating a panorama where buildings, streets and the city's relief are enveloped by a dense curtain of fog.

Its presence has led to a significant reduction in visibility, making it difficult for vehicles and pedestrians to move. Under these conditions, drivers are forced to drive at reduced speed and with greater caution, especially on road axes where visibility is even more limited.

In addition to traffic difficulties, dense fog is a potential factor for road accidents, as it reduces the ability to identify other vehicles, pedestrians or obstacles on the road in time. At the same time, the atmospheric conditions also affect the duration of trips, making it take longer to reach the destination.

Drivers are advised to exercise maximum caution, maintain a safe distance, avoid dangerous maneuvers, and use lights appropriate for foggy conditions.

Kukës, which often faces such atmospheric phenomena during the autumn and winter seasons, continues to be under the influence of conditions that require increased attention from all road users.
