In anticipation of Ukraine's planned counteroffensive, German instructors are training Ukrainian troops to fight against Russian forces.
The training is taking place at military bases that are located almost throughout Germany, foreign media write.
"Ukrainian special forces are preparing for an offensive on Bundeswehr bases," writes the German newspaper Bild, noting that more than 1000 Ukrainian soldiers are currently stationed at German bases.
Ukrainian soldiers are specially trained to fight in populated areas.
