The fifth consecutive protest of citizens against the construction project of a tourist resort in the protected area of Zvërnec is being held today at 18:00 PM.
The gathering of citizens will take place again at "Skënderbej" Square and then march towards the Prime Minister's Office.
"Our voice, our dignity, our future," is the slogan of today's protest.
Citizens have made it clear that this protest is outside of politics and this has also been noted during previous protests where citizens chanted "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison."
Yesterday's rally began with tensions where the police had set up metal fences, which did not prevent citizens from joining in after clashes with the officers or the fact that pepper spray was used against them by police cars.
In chorus, the protesters chanted a series of slogans, among them calls for the resignation of the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
