A serious incident was recorded in the village of Kocul in Vlora, where an employee of the High Voltage Directorate lost his life after being electrocuted while performing his duty.
The victim has been identified as Altin Petanaj, around 50 years old, who was part of a group of workers carrying out repair work at the Kocul village electrical substation.
During the intervention at the substation, Petanaj was electrocuted, sustaining fatal injuries.
After the accident, the Police arrived at the scene and began investigations to fully document the event and clarify the circumstances in which the tragic accident at work occurred.
Investigations are expected to determine the causes of the incident and whether safety procedures were followed during electrical work.
