A sad event occurred a few moments ago in neighborhood no. 1 of the city of Korça, where an elderly woman passed away unexpectedly.

According to preliminary information, the victim is an 84-year-old woman. The elderly woman, not feeling well, called her neighbor to ask for help. As soon as she arrived and the 84-year-old opened the door, the latter fell to the ground and died in the yard of her apartment.

Although the ambulance was immediately called, when the medical team arrived at the scene, the elderly woman was without signs of life.

Police forces have also gone to the apartment, and have begun the first investigative actions to clarify the full circumstances of the case.
