Tirana police have arrested three people and initiated criminal proceedings against six others, for illegal actions committed during rallies held in the capital on October 7 and 8.
Following investigative actions to identify and bring to criminal responsibility the persons involved in incidents during the protests, citizens EL, 28 years old, F. Rr., 29 years old, and AA, 39 years old, have been arrested.
Meanwhile, the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against EP, 39 years old, BM, 20 years old, IT, 51 years old, MC, 65 years old, LB, 39 years old and EE, 35 years old.
According to the Police, the case is related to the criminal offenses of "Assault due to duty", "Resistance to a public order police officer", "Disobedience to an order of a public order police officer", "Disturbance of public peace" and "Obstruction of the circulation of means of transport".
The materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
