The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has declared that the DP has begun preparations for the upcoming local elections and will participate in the electoral process, while in parallel it will continue the political battle on all fronts.
Berisha's statement comes at a time when the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, is expected to announce the date of local elections by November 7.
"The DP has started preparations, but we will continue the battle on all fronts. We are in the conditions of a dictatorship, which does not respect the rules, the Constitution and the obligations we have in the integration process. We have made it clear that, between our activity within the institutions or outside them, we have chosen the activity within. We will participate in the elections", said Berisha.
