Prime Minister Edi Rama, at a joint conference with the ambassador of the European Union Delegation, Sofia Moreira de Sousa, warned of legal and administrative measures against the protesters.
Rama did not mention police violence against young people, but only warned of measures for protesters.
"I am no longer a student or a teacher, but I come from a path where I was a student and a teacher and where, together with the students, I stood up against a real regime and not an imaginary regime, for one reason only: to be free. Whoever thinks that intimidation, fear or violence will have an impact on me has made the wrong calculations. And I will receive the answer both criminally and administratively, both those who raise their hands against the police and those who block the roads," said Rama.
