Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced the opening of a new dialogue platform with students and citizens who wish to discuss important issues with him and the government.
During his statement, Rama said that this initiative aims to provide opportunities for students who, according to him, have been threatened and prevented by other student groups to hold meetings with the prime minister.
He claimed that three groups of students have been forced to withdraw from attempts to meet with him, due to pressure and bullying, both on social media and physically.
Rama emphasized that the meetings were intended to take place without cameras and without the presence of the media, with the sole purpose of having a direct conversation.
"Tomorrow we will light up another window on the screens of anyone who is interested, a dialogue window that is offered to those who want to interact with me and the government on issues of importance."
A dialogue window for students who are threatened by those pseudo-students who appear at the doors of the auditoriums and deliver violent messages to anyone who thinks differently or who dares to take the step towards dialogue.
Three groups of students have been violently turned back, online and offline, by these pseudo-students, in their attempt to come to a meeting with me, without cameras, without photos and without a press release, just to talk. Three groups of students, with names and surnames deconspired, hell knows how, and bullied to the extreme.
I am no longer a student or a teacher, but I come from a path where I was a student and a teacher and where, together with the students, I stood up against a real regime and not an imaginary regime, for one reason only: to be free.
"Whoever thinks that intimidation, fear or violence will have an impact on me has made the wrong calculations. And they will face both criminal and administrative consequences, both those who raise their hands against the police and those who block the roads," said Rama.
