Three people have been arrested by the Dibra Police, suspected of distributing cocaine in various areas of the city of Burrel. Among those arrested is a 72-year-old man, while during the checks carried out by the police, cocaine, combat ammunition, mobile phones and a luxury watch of the "Rolex" brand were seized.

The police operation codenamed “Start 3” was finalized by specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Dibër Police Department, in cooperation with the Mat Police Commissariat, following a proactive investigation conducted under the direction of the Dibër Prosecutor’s Office. As part of the operation, citizens AM, 27 years old, and D. Gj., 55 years old, both residents of Sandzhak i Laç, as well as N. Gj., 72 years old, resident of Burrel, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

According to the police, from the investigations carried out, it is suspected that the three arrested were collaborating with each other for the preparation and sale of cocaine in different areas of Burrel. During the physical searches and those carried out in the suspects' homes, the officers found and seized 94.70 grams of suspected cocaine, 19 live ammunition of different calibers, 13 mobile phones, two electronic scales, a vehicle and a Rolex wristwatch. All the seized items will serve as material evidence in the investigation against the three arrested. The procedural materials have been referred to the Dibra Prosecutor's Office for further investigative actions, in order to fully document the suspected criminal activity.
