The Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has commented on the statements of the US ambassador, Yuri Kim, about a possible co-government between Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha in September, saying that this would be the biggest drama for Albania and Albanians.

Berisha categorically opposed such cooperation, saying that the opposition is a hope for the overthrow of the narco-state and cannot be turned into a lever of the narco-state.

“I am categorically against this decision. It would be the biggest drama of Albania and Albanians. The opposition is the only hope for the overthrow of the narco-state, to become the lever of the narco-state.

I am convinced that there are very few, or perhaps none of the Democrats, who want it, but the cooperation that Ms. Kim referred to may or may not be for co-government,” Berisha said.
